The Department of Critical Care Medicine at Aarogyam The Medi City is dedicated to providing specialized, round-the-clock care to patients with life-threatening illnesses, serious infections, major medical emergencies and complex health conditions requiring close monitoring and advanced medical support.
Our Critical Care team provides comprehensive management of critically ill patients with conditions such as severe infections and sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac emergencies, acute kidney injury, neurological emergencies, uncontrolled diabetes and metabolic disorders, multi-organ dysfunction and other serious medical conditions.
The department is supported by a multidisciplinary team of critical care physicians, specialists, trained nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, working together to provide timely assessment, continuous monitoring and individualized treatment.
Our critical care services include advanced patient monitoring, respiratory support, oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation, management of sepsis and severe infections, cardiovascular and haemodynamic support, emergency stabilization, post-operative critical care and management of patients with multiple organ dysfunction.
Patients admitted to the ICU receive continuous clinical observation and timely intervention according to their changing medical condition. The department also works closely with the Department of Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Surgery, Anaesthesia and other specialties whenever multidisciplinary care is required.
